Real 4K recordings with a 140° viewing angle
The camera records in 3840 x 2160 pixels at 30 frames per second, four times the sharpness of full HD.
When you review the footage, this lets you zoom in on details that a regular dashcam would miss: a license plate three cars ahead, or the face of a driver who doesn't stop.
The 140° viewing angle keeps the entire width of the road in frame.
Sharp image in backlight and in the dark
The bright f/1.55 aperture gives the sensor plenty of light even at dusk.
WDR prevents a low-hanging sun or bright headlights from blowing out the image.
For nighttime, there's 70mai's own night vision algorithm. It suppresses noise and preserves contrast where the street lighting ends.
Out of sight behind the rearview mirror
Thanks to the screenless design, you can mount the camera completely out of sight behind the rearview mirror. Control and playback are done through the 70mai app on your phone, with voice commands for when your hands are on the wheel.
The lens rotates manually a full 360°, so it can also be aimed at the rear window to serve as a rear camera.
Depending on your car model, you'll need an extension cable for this.
The difference between the Xiaomi 70mai M310 Plus 4K and the other models
All three are compact and screen-free, featuring a 360° rotatable lens, emergency recording and control via the 70mai app. The main difference lies in the sharpness.
M310 Plus 2K
Films in 2560 x 1440 pixels, noticeably sharper than full HD. With 143°, this model has the widest viewing angle of the three, so the cyclist next to you stays in view too. For parking surveillance, you'll use a hardwire kit.
M310 Plus 3K
Films in 2880 x 1620 pixels, well over twice as many pixels as full HD. The viewing angle is 139°. For parking surveillance you can choose between a Hardwire Kit and an OBD-II adapter.
M310 Plus 4K (this model)
Records in 3840 x 2160 pixels, four times the sharpness of full HD, so you can zoom in on a license plate when reviewing the footage. The viewing angle is 140° and the camera works down to -20 °C, the other two down to -10 °C.
