That's exactly what the Anker SOLIX BP7000 expansion battery is made for: each module adds 7kWh of storage capacity to your existing system, and you can stack them up to a total of no less than 42kWh. That way, your home battery simply grows along with your energy use, whether that's because of a heat pump, an electric car or simply longer winter evenings.

Expanding literally means stacking: you place the BP7000 under your Solarbank Max AC without any cables, and within a few minutes the extra capacity is available. Alongside the main unit, the system supports up to five expansion batteries, together good for 42kWh. And because each module is only 275 mm high, even the full tower of the main unit with five batteries stays under 1.75 metres, so it fits upright in most garages and storage rooms.
